BALTIMORE, AUG. 21, 2012 — /PRNewswire/ -- CPA and management consulting firm SC&H Group, LLC, announced today that Scott Tyler has joined the firm as a Principal in its State and Local Tax Practice in the firm's recently opened Tampa, Florida office.

Scott brings nearly 20 years of national experience in state and local tax, with a focus on property tax. Prior to joining SC&H, Scott led Crowe Horwath's southeast property tax practice, and was the national practice leader for personal property. Scott has also held State and Local Tax leadership roles at General Electric and Ernst & Young. In his capacity with SC&H, Scott will continue to be an advisor to privately held Fortune 100 companies on state and local tax matters, while contributing to SC&H's national reach.

Tyler Farrar wins his second stage at USA Pro Challenge | charlietheron2

COLORADO SPRINGS — With just 1½ laps left in three laps around downtown Colorado Springs, the peloton finally caught the breakaway group Friday afternoon and from there Tyler Farrar broke out in the sprint to the finish line to win Stage 5 of the USA Pro Challenge.

The Team Garmin-Sharp rider, who also won Stage 1 on Monday, finished Friday’s stage in 3 hours, 58 minutes, 27 seconds. During the stage, Farrar also reclaimed the green jersey as the top sprinter.
