OCI Formally Signs US$ 363 Million Contract to Build a 1,000 MW Gas Turbine Power Plant in Iraq Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) announced today that it formally signed the US$ 363 million contract to build a 1,000 MW gas turbine power plant in Baija, Iraq. The Iraqi cabinet approved the project in January 2012. The power plant was tendered and awarded by the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity, which was established in 2003. The project is expected to be completed in 21 months. Orascom Construction Industries announced today that the international Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, will provide a US$100 million loan to Orascom Construction, the Company’s wholly-owned construction subsidiary. The loan will be used to finance the operations of the company as well as ongoing and new projects. (TSX VENTURE: PEM)(OTCQX: PMMEF) ("Premium" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that effective August 30, 2012 it has closed a non-brokered private placement (the "Private Placement") with Osisko Mining Corporation (TSX: OSK) for 7,142,857 units (each a "Unit") of the Company to raise gross proceeds of $500,000 at a price of $0.07 per share.
Each Unit is comprised of one common share (a "Share") and one common share purchase warrant (a "Warrant").
