Bloomberg News - South Korea warned that North Korea may test a nuclear weapon after a planned missile launch this month that has raised regional tensions and drawn U.S. warnings on the eve of parliamentary elections tomorrow in the South.

North Korean activity at the Punggye-ri atomic testing site is consistent with preparations for previous detonations in 2006 and 2009, a South Korean intelligence report obtained yesterday by Bloomberg News said. Korean Air (003490) said it will divert flights serving Indonesia, Philippines and Beijing from April 12-16 because of the launch planned for then, according to an e-mailed statement today.

China, South Korea and Japan expressed concern over North Korea's plan to put a satellite into orbit with a long-range rocket, which the U.S. says would scuttle a food aid deal. The launch, which will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of state founder Kim Il Sung, comes less than four months since Kim Jong Un succeeded his father as head of the totalitarian state.

"The timing is impeccable,” said Park Young Ho, senior research fellow and director at Korea Institute for National Unification. "Kim Jong Un is taking advantage of the domestic North Korean celebrations of Kim Il Sung to aggressively influence South Korean elections.”

South Korea's benchmark Kospi Index rose as much as 0.7 percent after yesterday falling the most in a month. Defense- related shares fell after rising yesterday by the daily limit of 15 percent.

2 Vote(s)

BLUES lock Bradley Davies is adamant the players must take full responsibility for their fifth defeat in a row.

The Welsh international defended under-fire coaches Gareth Baber and Justin Burnell after the Ospreys ended their hopes of reaching the RaboDirect Pro12 play-offs.

Six Nations Grand Slam winner Davies spoke with typical honesty as he addressed the 33-12 defeat at Cardiff City Stadium.

"It's easy to blame off-the- field things and who is leaving but it comes down to personal and team performances on it,” he said.

Davies, who was captain against the Ospreys, insisted: "We're letting ourselves down.

"You can't blame the coaches. We have been embarrassed by how we have played during the last couple of weeks. We have created an environment which is not good enough.

"No-one likes losing, especially against our arch-rivals the Ospreys. We competed well for 60 minutes and then kind of crumbled. Our scrum has been under pressure the last couple of weeks.

"It's not down to a lack of effort - we've being banging them out in training.

"We're a bit naive and inexperienced but the only way to improve it is on the training field.

"Personally, I'm a bit embarrassed and there are a lot of forwards embarrassed in the dressing room.

"We've got a lot of youngsters. They're inexperienced at the moment. They have to learn you can't switch off.

"That's (Ospreys pulling away) what happens when you do. They built pressure from the scrum and they kind of bulldozed us in the end.

"We have got two big games left to prove something. We are back in on Monday morning and must be harsh on ourselves.

"It's up to us youngsters to build for next season. We have to take it on the chin, work hard next week, focus on our two remaining matches and next season.

"We need to try and finish on a high against Edinburgh and the Scarlets.

"If you look at the boys who are staying and coming through, we have got something to build on for next season.

"Edinburgh are playing good rugby at the moment. If we can get a win we will have a bit of confidence to go into the Scarlets game.

"The main thing is to stop this rot because our performance on the field isn't good enough.”

Blues have followed up the signing of Wales lock Lou Reed and Ulster reserve hooker Andi Kyriacou from the Scarlets by recruiting Fiji loose-head prop Campese Ma'afu and Rotherham blindside flanker Robin Copeland on two-year deals.

Perpignan's 26-year-old third-choice tight-head prop Benoît Bourrust is also set to join them.

Meanwhile, the Blues will play their final home Pro12 match of a disappointing campaign, against Edinburgh, at Cardiff City Stadium next Sunday.

There had been speculation they would switch it to Cardiff Arms Park but major road-works in Westgate Street ruled out the possibility

3 Vote(s)

WASHINGTON - The current strong gains in hiring makes the Federal Reserve policymakers worried that it could buzz if the economic growth of the US doesn't go up.

According to the Fed's minutes on Tuesday, members were first stated their concerns before they make a plan to keep interest rates at record lows until at least late year 2014. However, some of the members want to take further procedures to improve the economy current status if a condition gets worse or inflation remains reclaimed.

After the meeting, Fed presented the somewhat current view of the economy mainly because of the three consecutive months of hiring in two years. It was concluded that there have been similar raptures of hiring in the previous two years which ended up fading.

On the speech echoed by the Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke last week in the economists gathering, the decline of the economy recovery was the main concern of Fed as it did last year.

Americans aren't receiving meaningful pay augmentation. Gas prices are high. Additionally, Europe's debt crisis could reflect on the U.S economy. Provided that the inflation will remain on its current position, analysts think that the Fed will likely give interest rates down in order for them to give the economy an additional support. Most of the economists don't think that Fed officials will alter their interest-rate policy at their following meeting on April 24-25 and will only relieve credits if the economy gradually moves from its current status.

The economy outlook is going up. Employers added an average of 245,000 jobs a month from December through February. On the other side, the rate of unemployed dropped nearly to 8.3%. The government will report Friday on the job market in March. Most of the economists supposed that the report will give a better month of job creation with a net gain of 210,000 jobs. They also expect that the unemployment rate will remain at 8.3%.

8 Vote(s)

It's clear that migrating business to the cloud reached a tipping point in 2011 where it is no longer a trend, but has become an absolute business requirement. This growth stems from the fact that it's available and effective.
In the most transformative technology shift since the personal computer and the Internet, it's clear that companies, both large and small, now fully recognize the advantages of shifting their IT and business needs to the cloud. No longer does it take a team of IT professionals and large budgets to deploy upgrade and manage a company's technology. Developers, business managers and IT pros turn to the cloud for the reason that it simply solves their problems.
However, while 2011 may be the year companies got serious about the cloud, 2012 will prove to be the year of cloud management. Since cloud is our business, we at RightScale are always tracking the latest developments and where the technology is headed. As they gear up for another busy year, they have identified a few of the top trends that they feel are set to make an impact on businesses in 2012:
1.	Step 2 Is Visibility. In 2011, companies realized that virtualization is only the halfway point and that a true cloud is automated, scalable and most importantly, API-driven. In 2012, enterprises must increase visibility into the entire lifecycle of cloud-based applications, from development to deployment to operations - and across multiple cloud providers and resource pools. That's the true promise of cloud computing, and the only way to realize it is through MultiCloud management.
2.	MultiCloud Makes its Move: This year, true private clouds emerged as key complements to public clouds, and companies now have extraordinary choice among cloud infrastructure alternatives, including public, private and hybrid clouds. Operating a MultiCloud strategy has advanced from an idea to a reality. Looking ahead, enterprises need to have better control of this cloud usage, without limiting the ease-of-use of cloud consumption - and that means offering self-service for users.
3.	Standardization without standards. Today, the world of cloud workloads resembles the Wild West, where anything goes in terms of boundless builds and deployment options. In 2012, development and operations teams within companies need a shared management framework that both enables portability across APIs and provides dynamic configuration of standardized workloads in order to ensure that their cloud solutions will be easy to manage and maintain throughout their lifecycle.

10 Vote(s)

Years ago leather was only available in a few colour ways but with more recent dying techniques a leather Chesterfield sofa can be created in a whole multitude of leather finishes.

This advancement in leather dying techniques means that the classic style of a Chesterfield can be made available to suit any home and any décor. They are of course still available in those early classic colours of brown, red and green - but how about a Chesterfield in vibrant blue, beautiful purple grape, or for a very contemporary look for a classic piece of furniture, jet black leather. The Chesterfield with its classic low back was the height of sophistication when it was first designed - but even today this sofa design in one of the more contemporary leather finishes is still a sophisticated piece of furniture that alludes to modernity in many homes.

The jet black Chesterfield sofa can look amazing in homes that have gone for a more contemporary atmosphere. Pale wooden floors help to set off this particular piece of furniture and by adding a touch of striking colour to the room in terms of a strategically placed vase or a modern art print the whole ambience is modern living with a classical twist. The low back of the Chesterfield sofa also helps to maintain lines in a room - an important aspect of minimalist room décor. No wonder the Chesterfield lives on as one of the most magnificent pieces of furniture ever designed. It was obviously quite ingenious for a sofa to be designed that could remain popular regardless of changing styles in other furniture pieces and more importantly to be a design that fits ideally into any surrounding.

There is something special about the Chesterfield but for many having a handcrafted Chesterfield suite is most appealing. The design is absolutely maintained, being that of the original Chesterfields but now created with superior products. Chesterfield sofas will remain extremely popular and can be supplemented by beautiful Chesterfield chairs too. For people looking to furnish larger rooms there is a whole variety of alternatives available in the Chesterfield range, from 4 seater sofas to smaller 2 seater sofas - that can look amazing as a pair in a room and create a modern style that is different to the traditional 3 piece suites. Experimenting with the modern colours that the leather is now available in can help create a stunning room.

About Saxon Chesterfield Lyons

One of the largest manufacturers of leather furniture in the UK. With an extensive range of chesterfield sofas, leather sofas and leather armchairs in stock you will be sure to find something to suit your living room.

!

3 Vote(s)

MONTGOMERY - The Montgomery Township Economic Development Commission elected fellow commissioner Daniel V. Madrid as its chairman for this year on Jan. 24.
Mr. Madrid, an attorney in the Princeton office of Fox Rothschild LLP, started serving the commission in 2008 when he was appointed by former Mayor Cecilia Birge. He is excited to serve the Montgomery business community in his new role.
”I want to help define the township's goals in terms of economic development,” said Mr. Madrid. "I want to help promote the businesses in town and make things easier for them to succeed.”
He plans on helping to build the business community by being a sounding board for complaints, a resource for information and a forum for networking and the general exchange of ideas. Mr. Madrid intends to accomplish this by continuing to develop the Montgomery newsletter and through the use of technology to increase personal contact with the businesses.
He added that the commission should cultivate relationships with local groups such as Shop Montgomery and Rotary in addition to regional groups such as Somerset County Business Partnership.
Through a thorough analysis of the existing business environment in Montgomery, he believes the Commission can determine the appropriate strategies for business growth and development.
He also wants to have more communication between the commission and the Township Committee. Mr. Madrid's wife, Christine Madrid, was recently appointed to the committee at the January reorganization meeting.
Township attorney Kristina Hadinger said their relationship would not create any conflicts of interest because the Economic Development Commission is strictly an advisory body. Commissioners are unable to enact ordinances or sit in judgment of applications.
Mr. Madrid emphasized the importance of upholding the wants and needs of the community. His can-do attitude also includes goals to achieve more tax ratables and lower the property taxes.
”I want to find an appropriate balance between the two - keeping communities the way they are and attracting new businesses to help take some tax burden off of home owners,” said Mr. Madrid. "It's tricky because people don't want to see major shopping centers - it has to be the right types of development in the right places.”

7 Vote(s)

American consumers are spending more, the housing market is improving, and employers are reducing fewer workers. But theunresolved debt crisis in Europe, the downturn in China and U.S. spending cuts present a serious challenge for policy makers as2012 starts out. U.S. unemployment is at its lowest level in more than two and a half years, and consumer confidence isincreasing. But there are dark clouds ahead as the New Year starts out. As noted by the Brightbridge Wealth Management, China, the world's fastest growingeconomy, is slowing down, and Europe's debt crisis shows few signs of easing.

The large number of unemployment in the United States, increasing debt and Congress' incapacity to do anything about it weremajor stories in 2011. But some bright areas are appearing to be the year comes to a close, According to George L. Perry, asenior fellow for economic studies at the Brookings Institution.”One was the export sector which grew really very well. Anotherarea was construction outside of home building. Business construction was picking up and construction in particular areas likecommercial. "We export much to Europe,” Perry points out. "And if Europe falls into another recession, that export growth is going to end. And which will have an effect on jobs in the U.S. and lead to the U.S. to move towards recession.”Increasing inflation and the downturn in Chinese manufacturing have already curbed demand for some commodities. But the downturn is due in part toBeijing's efforts to avert its economy from overheating.

World Bank President Robert Zoellick is encouraged by the ongoing reforms in China aimed towards reducing the country'sreliance on exports, but he warned U.S. lawmakers against further delays in dealing with the nation's increasing debt, now close to$15 trillion.

According to the Brightbridge Wealth Management,”The downgrade of America from triple A didn't have an effect on the finances today, but it may be one ofthose events in which people look back on 10 years from now and say, ‘Did they get the warning? Did they pay attention or didthey continue to do what they were doing?'”

6 Vote(s)
