The 2011 Iron Bowl will feature a battle of the Southeastern Conference's two leading rushers, Trent Richardson for the Alabama Crimson Tide and Michael (Mike) Dyer for the Auburn Tigers. Richardson is a junior and has rushed for 1380 yards and 20 touchdowns. Dyer, on the other hand, is a sophomore and has rushed for 1194 and 10 touchdowns.

Richardson and Dyer were both five star recruits coming out of high school, and neither has disappointed in their NCAA career. This will be the first time the two face each other as the starters for their teams. The outcome of this game will depend on which team is successful in their rushing attack. Bama is playing for a spot in the BCS National Championship game, and Dyer would love nothing more than to help his Tigers prevent their most hated rival from reaching that game.

Auburn can also influence Richardson's chances for the Heisman Trophy Award. The race is currently wide open, and the next couple of weeks will decide who will have the chance to be the next to carry the award. If the Tigers can shut Trent down, then he will most likely not win the Heisman Trophy.

I think Auburn will do all it can to stop Richardson. In the past two years, the Tigers were capable of shutting down Alabama's former Heisman Trophy winner, Mark Ingram. I think the Tigers will have success in stopping Richardson, and because of that I think Dyer will have the better game. But what do you think?

How I Met Your Mother comes back September 19 for its seventh season. The creatorshave promised that Robin will enjoy an active, interesting season, in contrast to the neglect she's suffered recently. The show will play up her professional and love life in upcoming episodes. In the sixth season episode Hopeless, we met a character -- Robin's crush -- who Ted hinted would be an love interest. Michael Trucco, of Battlestar Galactica fame, played the crush.

Michael Trucco has a role on the USA Network series Fairly Legal, which got renewed for a second season on May 2, 2011. It's unclear whether the HIMYM crew banked on Fairly Legal's cancellation to snag one of the stars or if they hoped to work around Trucco's busy schedule, but it didn't end up working out. Kal Penn, the Harold and Kumar actor who left his role on House to work in the Obama White House, will replace him as Robin's love interest in season seven.


[SPOILERS AHEAD] The creators have talked about the context for Kal Penn's character . Robin will meet him after she's been court-mandated to therapy for getting into a fight. Kal Penn plays her therapist, and, according to Carter Bays, "in the process of getting that therapy, [Robin] maybe starts to have feelings for her therapist, which is kind of messed up. And her therapist starts to have feelings for her too. It's a bit of a forbidden romance."

Last year, Michael Dyer and the Auburn Tigers beat the South Carolina Gamecocksand kept Marcus Lattimore in check twice, once during the regular season and again in the SEC Championship game. Dyer racked up 100 yards on 23 carries versus Lattimore's 33 yards on 14 carries in the first game, but Lattimore out-gained Dyer with 84 yards off 16 carries to 64 yards off 14 carries in the second, respectively.

In the 2010 recruiting rankings, Lattimore and Dyer were ranked either the top back or the second back in the nation, depending on the service providing the rankings. The two nearly attended Auburn University together, but Lattimore had a change of heart in the final week of recruiting and chose the Gamecocks.

Bachelor Pad 2 has just concluded, and Michael Stagliano and Holly Durst were crowned the winners and awarded the $250,000 prize to split. The finale started with the four remaining couples, Kirk Dewindt and Ella Nolan, Kasey Kahl and Vienna Girardi, Graham Bunn and Michelle Money, and Michael and Holly competing and performing in the Las Vegas Cirque de Soleil show "Ka." Past Bachelorettes, Ali Fedotowsky and Trista Sutter, and Bachelor, Jason Mesnick, were the judges. In the end, Michael and Holly had the best performance and won the competition. Kirk and Ella had the worst performance and were sent home.

Because Michael and Holly won, they got to choose which couple to take to the finale and they decided to take Michelle and Graham. The evicted Bachelor Pad cast members returned for the finale and became the jury and voted on who they believed deserved to win the prize. In the end, Michael and Holly had the most votes and won BP 2.

I believe the right couple won, even though Holly did not contribute much to the team. Michael won multiple competitions. Holly just sat back and let Michael do everything. But I guess you could argue that Holly played a good game because she knew that flirting with one of the best competitors (Michael) and flirting with one of the jury members (Blake) would get her where she needed to be in the end.
