Muslims, Hindu, African, Asians, homosexuals, male, female – just by looking at these random nouns we can observe that diversity is the keyword which defines the world we are living in. The downside of being different is that it can lead to opinion discrepancies or worse, to conflicts. Therefore an update in protecting human rights was necessary and in the United Kingdom this law is named the Equality Act 2010. The Equality Act 2010 explains the situation of socio-economic inequalities and it gives a set of rules which protect people against age, sex, gender, race or religious discrimination. Also, the Equality Act 2010 explains the consequences and prohibits conducts such as harassment and victimization. All the more so, the Equality Act 2010 includes a subsection of rules which protects employees at work, rules regarding the identity, recommendations, appointments or equality. » The Equality Act 2010
