TruEnergy promotes brown coal projects and will expect to generate natural and safe electricity
It comes as energy giant TruEnergy publicly exhibited plans to build up to 1000 megawatts of gas-fired power at Yallourn that could replace two-thirds of the brown coal generation on the site. But the company says it has yet to make a decision whether to go ahead with new gas projects amid flagging power demand in a weakening Victorian economy.
