U.S. stocks closed mostly lower Wednesday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average slid 13 points to 12824, the Standard & Poor's 500-stock index dropped 2.3 points to 1356 and the Nasdaq Composite gained a fraction to 2930. Among the companies with shares actively trading after hours are Sun Healthcare Group Inc. (SUNH), Bed Bath & Beyond Inc.'s (BBBY) and Pozen Inc. (POZN).
