Over the years Capital Campaigns have evolved from mammoth campaigns with hundreds of volunteers and staff to today when campaigns are much smaller both in structure and length of time and are highly volunteer oriented.

Few Capital Campaigns for other than major institutions take more than 12 to 18 months to complete and are more recently designed to be conducted by development staff with the assistance of a consultant. In organizations that have no development department staff, they usually opt to have on-site campaign direction, that is, an on-site Campaign Director/Consultant who works 24/7 on their project.

We at Bradley Associates are proud to provide staffing whether you need it for a couple days a month or full-time on-site Director. We are in position to provide that staff to help achieve your goals in the shortest possible time line.

The ultimate success of a Capital Campaign for significant funding support of specific programs or projects, always goes back to the essential "pre-campaign" tasks that either were or were not accomplished prior to the start of the campaign. A stalled Capital Campaign is most likely the result of insufficient preparation. No Capital Campaign preparation step is more important than the Capital Campaign Planning Study (or Feasibility Study).

Brightbridge Wealth Management Headlines:Facebook and Privacy Don’t Mix Well

Posted by timothylett (brightbridgewealthmanagement-facts.com) 199 days ago under brightbridge wealth management brightbridge wealth management zurich brightbridge wealth management headlines-facebook

Rumor has it that Facebook is close to reaching a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to

settle charges related to privacy. While the privacy settlement may sound like a good idea, it is sort of a

smoke and mirrors exercise because the reality is that privacy and social networking are polar opposites

that don’t play nicely together.

One of my PCWorld peers, Jon P. Mello Jr., took a close look at what we know of the settlement terms, and

found it lacking. The conditions of the settlement seem to address only a certain set of privacy concerns,

varies based on when you joined Facebook, and doesn’t affect new features that Facebook rolls out in the

future. It is basically a slap on the wrist for something that occurred in 2009 which appears to do more to

confuse the privacy issues than resolve them.

Miller Winston reports how the company started and how the company has grown into a multi-location funeral

service provider, serving the families of Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas.
In 1961, W. Paul Hayworth and Robert F. Miller saw an opportunity and purchased Manuel Funeral Home, located

at 619 East Fifth Street in downtown Winston-Salem, renaming it Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home. After four

years at this location, Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home relocated to 3315 Silas Creek Parkway. This location

has proven to be a success for the business and a convenience for the residents of Winston-Salem. In 1996 a

crematory was built at this location to better serve families of all locations requesting cremation.

Hayworth-Miller prides itself in being family owned, currently in its second generation of owners with Frank

Miller serving as Chief Operating Officer. The Silas Creek Chapel is currently under the management of Stan

Garraghty, a long time resident of the Winston-Salem and Clemmons area.

Hypo Venture Capital Headlines: Debate on modern technology in the classroom needs a reboot

Posted by timothylett (hypoventurecapital-financialideas.com) 213 days ago under hypo venture capital headlines-debate on modern t
There’s no doubt that technology brings with it some scary things. The scariest of them all is the uncertainty.
Human beings are creatures of habit and the introduction of anything new typically raises an eyebrow (at least) or pitchforks (more often). It’s a somewhat common theme that is tiresome to me, but one that provokes debate throughout the times.
The common gripe against smartphones and mobile devices is that they are shackles that handcuff an employee to their work – 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
While your boss may have an expectation that because you have a BlackBerry you should be responding to emails at 6 a.m. on a Saturday (emergency or not), this is less about your boss’s disposition and more about a lack of education as to how to use technology to get the best results.
